On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, St. Tikhon's Summer Camp continued with another full day centered on prayer, learning, fellowship, and recreation as campers and counselors participated in a wide variety of activities throughout the day.

In the morning, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Tikhon's Monastery Church, where many campers chose to gather to receive the Holy Mysteries.

Workshops continued throughout the morning for campers of all age groups, focusing on this year's camp theme, "Putting Off the Old Man and Putting On the New." Through discussions and instruction rooted in the Orthodox Faith, campers reflected on the Christian calling to continual repentance, spiritual renewal, and growth in Christ. The Gray Shirts also participated in a special workshop led by His Eminence Archbishop Michael of New York and New Jersey, who shared words of encouragement and spoke about living an authentic Orthodox Christian life.

During the afternoon, campers enjoyed a full schedule of activities, including boating, swimming, iconography, visits to the bookstore, dance, and fellowship with one another. Campers from various age groups also had the opportunity to once again tour the Metropolitan Museum of the Orthodox Church in America under the guidance of Priest Paul Witek, Rector of All Saints Church in Olyphant, PA, and Academic Dean of St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary. The visit introduced campers to the rich history of the Orthodox Church in America through exhibits highlighting its missionary heritage, hierarchs, clergy, and faithful who have helped shape Orthodoxy in North America.

In the evening, the camp community gathered once again in prayer as Daily Vespers was served by Priest Joseph Sharman, Camp Chaplain and Associate Priest at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Wilmington, DE.

Following Vespers, campers and counselors gathered for one of St. Tikhon's Summer Camp's most anticipated annual traditions, the Annual Dodgeball Tournament. Filled with spirited competition, teamwork, laughter, and enthusiastic support from spectators, the tournament provided another opportunity for campers to strengthen friendships while enjoying an evening of wholesome recreation together.
