OLYPHANT, PA [DOEPA]
On Sunday, June 7, 2026, the faithful of All Saints Church in Olyphant, PA, joyfully celebrated their Patronal Feast, the Synaxis of All Saints.
Observed on the first Sunday after Pentecost, the Feast of All Saints commemorates the countless men and women who have attained holiness through the grace of the Holy Spirit. From the Apostles and Martyrs to the Prophets, Hierarchs, Monastics, and Righteous, the Church honors all those who have faithfully borne witness to Christ throughout the ages, both those known to us and those known only to God.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Priest Paul Witek, Rector of All Saints Church, and Academic Dean at St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary. Concelebrating were four recent graduates of St. Tikhon's Seminary: Priest Seraphim Crossman, Priest Pedro Sarsamă, Priest John Stiff, and Priest Paul Schlafer, many of whom served in parish assignments at All Saints during their years at the Seminary. The Mitred Archpriest Daniel Geeza was also present for the celebration. The choir offered prayerful singing under the direction of Reader David Brzuchalski.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the clergy and faithful participated in a Cross Procession around the temple in honor of the parish's heavenly patrons, offering prayers of thanksgiving and seeking the intercessions of all the Saints. A feastive meal was prepared and served in the Church hall.
