On Sunday, May 10, 2026, Mother’s Day, on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the Diocesan Media Office extends heartfelt greetings, love, and prayers to all mothers throughout the Diocese and beyond.
On this special day, we offer sincere gratitude and appreciation for all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and spiritual mothers who faithfully dedicate their lives to the care, guidance, and spiritual nurturing of their families and communities. Through their love, sacrifice, compassion, and steadfast faith, they reflect the beauty of Christian motherhood and serve as a source of strength and encouragement to the faithful. His Eminence especially offers prayers for all living mothers, asking the Lord to grant them peace, health, strength, joy, and many blessed years as they continue their sacred vocation of love and service.
The Diocese also remembers in prayer all reposed mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and spiritual mothers who have fallen asleep in the Lord. May their memories be eternal, and may Christ our God grant rest to their souls among the righteous. Christ is Risen!
Through the prayers and intercessions of the Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, the Mother of God and perfect example of humility, obedience, and motherhood, may the Lord continue to bless and preserve all mothers in His abundant mercy and love.
