BATH, PA [DOEPA COMMUNICATIONS]
On behalf of the Youth Ministries Department of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, the Diocesan Media Office announces that counselor applications for the upcoming St. Tikhon’s Summer Camp season remain open!
Held at St. Tikhon’s Monastery in South Canaan, PA, the camp brings together Orthodox youth for a week of prayer, fellowship, and activities. Counselors serve as mentors, lead activities, assist with services, and help foster a faith-centered and supportive environment!
The Department is also seeking additional counselors, including recent high school graduates interested in serving as Counselors-in-Training (CITs). Applicants must be at least 18 years old, available for the full session, and submit an application with three references. Applicants do not need to be Orthodox Christians or from the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania; however, they must be in good standing with their church. Selected candidates must complete required background checks and clearances. Those interested in serving as counselors are encouraged to submit an application by visiting: youth.doepa.org/counselor-application
Questions regarding the application process may be directed to the Youth Ministries Department at youth@doepa.org
