On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the Clergy, Matushki and Faithful of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, the Diocesan Media Office extends its warmest congratulations to Archpriest Nikolai Gulin, Rector of Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring Mission, Philadelphia, PA, on the occasion of his 15th anniversary of ordination to the Holy Priesthood.
Father Nikolai was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, February 22, 2009, Meatfare Sunday, Commemoration of the Last Judgment, by the laying on of hands of His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonah at Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, NY. Following his ordination, Father Nikolai was attached to Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, NY.
In September 2022, Father Nikolai was transferred to the omophorion of Archbishop Mark and the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, and appointed Acting Rector of the Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring Mission, Philadelphia, PA.
Over the course of his ministry, he has labored faithfully in Christ’s Church, offering compassionate pastoral care, sound instruction, and attentive liturgical service to those entrusted to him. His life and work bear witness to a profound love for the Church and a firm dedication to the truth and proclamation of the Gospel.
