Dear Rev. Fathers, Diocesan Council Members, and Department Chairs,
The 62nd Diocesan Assembly will be held on Thursday and Friday, January 29th and 30th, 2026, at St. Michael Orthodox Church, Old Forge, PA, jointly sponsored by deanery parishes. All our active clergy, parish delegates and department chairs are required to attend this Assembly. Registration will begin on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. followed by the formal opening of the Assembly at 4:00 p.m., dinner at 5:00 p.m., and Daily Vespers will be at 6:00 p.m. Every parish is required to send a delegate. The form for certifying delegates and observers will be forthcoming. The agenda will be posted online after approval by the Diocesan Council after our December 9th meeting (www.doepa.org).
Reservations are to be made prior to December 30, 2025. We cannot guarantee the room rates after that date. Please contact SpringHill Suites by Marriott Scranton Montage Mountain for 99.00 USD, per night - Last Day to Book: Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Be sure to look for the DOEPA26 Room Block.
