Dearly beloved in the Lord,
On behalf of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America I would like to extend an invitation to all the parishes, pastors and faithful of the Church to join us in celebration of the Nativity of our Lord. You are invited to join us live on Zoom or via a prerecorded video for a Virtual Christmas Concert. The Concert will be held at a time to be determined on the Sunday after Christmas and be streamed live on the FOCA YouTube channel.
Those participating are asked to prepare a Christmas greeting from their Pastor/Parish and for their parish choir to perform a select number of Nativity Hymns or carols that will be determined by the number of Parishes that participate. We are hoping that this will be an event that brings our faithful and families together in fellowship and song to celebrate the Nativity of our Lord.
Above you’ll find and invitation to participate. Please share it and encourage all to participate. If you are interested in participating, please email me at focaspiritualadvisor@gmail.com Once I have an idea of how many Parishes will be participating you will receive further correspondence regarding the number of hymns/carols to prepare. We will also try to find a good time for the live event so that people from across the country can participate. Participants are asked to respond no later than November 30, 20201
