Allied Services / Heinz Rehab Hospital at 150 Mundy Street in Wilkes-Barre will hold a Workshop entitled "When the Time Comes: Exploring Hospice and Palliative Care." This conference is intended for social workers, nurses, counselors, chaplains, clergy, other interested professionals, persons with addictions, heir caregivers, and students. Pre-registration is required and non-refundable in most cases. Deadline for registration is October 12, 2017 or when 75 reservations have been received
The general cost for the conference is $50 per person for chaplains, clergy, and those not receiving CEUs. $75 for nurses and social workers obtaining CEUs, and $25 per person for persons who have disabilities, caregivers, and students.
