SOUTH CANAAN, PA [DOEPA]
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, St. Tikhon's Summer Camp kicked off another year on the grounds of St. Tikhon’s Monastery in South Canaan, PA, welcoming campers from across the diocese and beyond for a week filled with faith, friendship, and fun.
Campers were warmly greeted by His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania and Dan Peck, Camp Director, along with clergy, staff, and both new and returning counselors.
The afternoon included icebreakers and field games, giving everyone a chance to connect. Dinner was hamburgers and hot dogs served as campers settled into their new routines.
After dinner, Daily Vespers was served by Priest Silouan Burns, Rector of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Wilmington, DE.
This year’s camp welcomes over 150 campers and around 70 counselors and staff. With a full schedule of liturgical services, workshops, outdoor activities, and evening programs, the week promises opportunities for spiritual growth, lasting friendships, and cherished memories.
