HARRISBURG, PA [DOEPA]
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, St. Mary of Egypt Sunday, the St. Tikhon's Seminary Mission Choir visited Christ the Saviour Church in Harrisburg, PA.
During the Divine Liturgy, the seminarians sang the responses, lifting the hearts of the faithful through their beautiful and prayerful offering.
Archpriest John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon's Seminary, offered the homily, reflecting on the life of St. Mary of Egypt and calling the faithful to deeper repentance and renewal during the Great Lent.
After the service, the faithful enjoyed a Lenten meal with the seminarians, fostering warm fellowship and conversation. During this time, Father John shared uplifting reflections, offering support for the parish’s building efforts and highlighting recent major grants received by the Seminary as clear examples of God’s providence.
