MECHANICSBURG, PA [DOEPA]
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the 2025 Pre-Lenten Clergy Retreat was held at Holy Apostles Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, providing an enriching spiritual experience for clergy members in preparation for the Lenten season. The theme of this year’s retreat was Spiritual Renovation, Advice from St. Ephraim the Syrian, presented by Father Theodore Pulcini.
Father Theodore led the clergy through an in-depth exploration of the powerful prayer of St. Ephraim, carefully breaking down each part of the prayer and offering profound insights into its spiritual meaning and relevance in life.
Following the first session, a meal was served in the church hall by parishioners of Holy Apostles Church.
The second session continued the breakdown of St. Ephraim’s prayer, inviting further reflection on the themes of repentance, humility, and spiritual renewal. Father Theodore’s thoughtful guidance helped participants appreciate how this prayer can serve as a tool for personal transformation and growth during the Lenten period and beyond.
On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the Diocesan Media Office extends its gratitude to Father Theodore Pulcini for leading another meaningful and impactful clergy retreat.
