Chrismation and Clergy Families Honored at St. Mark's Church

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA [DOEPA]

On Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3, 2024, St. Mark's Orthodox Church in Wrightstown, PA, welcomed a new member into the faith and honored the clergy families.

On Saturday, Kaitlyn Talj was received into the Orthodox Church through the Holy Mystery of Chrismation after a year-long period of inquiry and catechumenate. She is the sixth person to be received into the Church this year at St. Mark's. May God grant the newly illumined Kaitlyn and her sponsor many years!

On Sunday, the faithful of St. Mark's Church presented Archpriest Raymond Martin and Matushka Heidi Browne, as well as Protodeacon Gregory and Matushka Martha Moser, with specially commissioned icons of their respective patron saints in gratitude for their ministry to the parish. This gesture was made under the leadership of the parish council and with contributions from the parishioners in observance of Clergy Appreciation Month. The icons were painted by Ivan Rumiantsev.

Glory to God for all things!
