LOPEZ, PA [DOEPA]

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Mark celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Vladimir's Orthodox Church in Lopez, PA.

Serving the Divine Liturgy with His Eminence was Archpriest Dennis Hendershot and Archpriest Gregory White along with servers of the parish. 

In his homily, His Eminence spoke about the importance of living out the Christian faith in daily life. He encouraged the faithful to strengthen their commitment to God through prayer, service, and gratitude, and to bring the message of the Gospel into their homes, workplaces, and community.

Following the dismissal, His Eminence blessed stockings in honor of St. Nicholas of Myra in Lycia for the youth of the parish. His Eminence greeted the faithful and offered words of encouragement to Fr. Dennis and Fr. Gregory and the faithful of St. Vladimir's Church. 

After the veneration of the cross, a meal was held in the church hall.

May God grant His Eminence, The Most Reverend Mark, Archbishop of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, Archpriest Dennis, Matushka Helene, their family, Archpriest Gregory, Matushka Kathleen, their family, and the faithful of St. Vladimir's Church many years!
