The Diocesan Media Office is the official Communications Department and Press Service for the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania. Under the guidance of the Diocesan Hierarch, the office is dedicated to fostering proactive and effective communication both within the Diocese and with the broader community.

On Monday, May 6, 2024, Bright Monday, His Eminence Archbishop Mark formally founded the Diocesan Media Office and appointed Nicholas Hojnicki as Director of Communications, effective immediately. In this role, the development and execution of the Diocese’s communication strategy is overseen. The Director manages the creation and distribution of all official news releases, reports, and media, ensuring that timely and accurate information reaches the public through the Diocesan website and various social media accounts.
