St. John the Baptist Holds Annual Ethnic Food Festival - 08/25/18
On a bright and sunny Saturday, August 25, the community of St. John the Baptist welcomed friends and neighbors to their annual Ethnic Food Festival.
Hundreds of people stopped in for a bite to eat and to enjoy Orthodox fellowship.
Preparations for this annual event began early in the year with food preparation, marketing, and grounds preparation via an Eagle Scout project.
The Ethnic food Festival serves not only as a fundraiser, but also as a chance for the faithful of St. John’s to come together and enjoy a day of service to the parish and to the neighborhood. Many long-lasting friendships have been established, and the festival is a reminder to all that St. John’s is a vibrant part of the community.
