St. Nicholas Orthodox Church welcomes experts and friends to Discuss Internet Safety - 11/10/15

On November 10th at St. Nicholas Church, Olyphant, FBI Special Agent Tanya Evanina spoke on Internet Safety for Parents, which included talking to our children about the dangers of internet predators, sexting and sexpoitation, and cyberbullying.  She spoke on being careful what one posts on the Internet because once it's there it can't be retrieved.  Posting too much personal information can be dangerous. Set boundaries with  your children. Be aware of their online friends. This presentation was given by Special Agent Tanya Evanina from the FBI Pittsburgh Division who is a member of the parish.
Also present were Police Chief Jim Foley and the Mayor of Olyphant, John Sedlak.
We thank Host Pastor Father Vladimir Fetcho and parishioners for arranging this presentation and refreshments for the community.
