Rev. Dn. Vasili ordained to the Holy Priesthood at St. Tikhon’s Monastery - 10/09/15

On Friday, October 9th, for the Feast of St. Patriarch Tikhon, of Moscow, the spiritual son of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Jermyn, Rev. Dn. Vasili Dubee was ordained to the rank of Holy Priesthood by the laying on of Apostolic hands of his Eminence, Archbishop MARK, Archbishop of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania. Fr. Vasili Dubee is a graduate of St. Tikhon’s Seminary, class of 2009.
During his studies at the Seminary, Fr. Vasili received a full  Scholarship from the St. Michael’s Parish in the “Adopt a Seminarian” Program. The Very Rev. John Kowalczyk, Pastor of St. Michael’s, was the sponsor of Fr. Vasili and led him around the Holy Altar at the Divine Liturgy during the rite of Holy Ordination.
