Diocesan Clergy meet at Holy Trinity for Continuing Education - 09/28/15

On Monday, September 28th, Diocesan clergy met at Holy Trinity Church in Pottstown, PA for the first clergy continuing education program of the new liturgical year.  Archbishop Mark discussed recent Diocesan matters with the clergy.
In the afternoon session a presentation on Clergy Peer Learning Groups was given by Father Nathan Preston of the OCA’s Pastoral Life Department, and Father Nicholas Solak, the Administrator of our Diocese’s new clergy peer learning program called HOPE – Honoring Orthodox Pastoral Excellence.
The HOPE program presents exciting opportunities for clergy – and clergy wives - to engage more deeply in pastoral learning, mutual support and accountability, and greater personal health.  This program holds great promise to help our clergy families, our parishes, and our clergy in their important priestly service.
Special thanks to Father Jason Franchak and his parishioners for hosting the meeting and for the luncheon.
