Holy Resurrection Cathedral Welcomes Bishop MARK, Fr. John Jillions to Vespers - 03/01/15
On Sunday, March 1 2015, the faithful of Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Wilkes-Barre PA welcomed His Grace, Bishop MARK, and Fr. John Jillions, Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America to the Sunday of Orthodoxy Vesper Service for the Wilkes-Barre Deanery.
Despite the cold and snow raging outside, the faithful of the Wilkes-Barre Deanery celebrated the Triumph of Orthodoxy. Fr. Jillions delivered a homily recounting the history of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, and what it means to us as Orthodox Christians today.
Following the service, all were invited to the Cathedral Hall for a light lenten meal.
