On Sunday, September 16, the Sunday after the Elevation of the Holy Cross, Holy Apostles Parish held the first day of Church School and began our Adult Education Series. As is our tradition, Fr. Timothy served the service of Proskomedia in the center of the Church, explaining why and how we prepare the Holy Gifts for the Divine Liturgy. After that, and before the Liturgy, Mark and Megan Warner were received into the Catechumenate of the Church – may God grant them Many Years! We also rejoice at our Diocesan intern, Fr. Silouan Burns, who will be with us on weekends for the foreseeable future.
