On Sunday, January 15 His Eminence Archbishop MARK made a hierarchical visit to St. Stephen Cathedral, Philadelphia, PA. During the Liturgy, parishioner Nathan Clausson was tonsured a Reader and Deacon George Zlatkowski was awarded the right to wear Double Orarion. At the conclusion of the service Vladyka MARK blessed new icons on the iconostas of St. Stephen Cathedral which was followed by recognition of all those who donated the new icons.
Later in the day His Eminence attended the 80th Annual Novogodny Ball. This event gathers many Orthodox faithful from our Diocese for a fun-filled evening of dancing and fellowship. His Eminence recognized Paul Fedoronko, long-time chairman of the event by presenting him Primatial and Diocesan Gramotas. Paul was also recognized by the members of the Colonial District of the FOCA and all those who attended for his tireless and dedicated work for the benefit of the Orthodox community in Philadelphia area.
