6th Annual Parish Festival & Classic Car Show held at St. Michael’s - 09/27/2015

On Friday, September 24th – Sunday, September 27th, nearly 2,000 people gathered at the sprawling grounds of St. Michael’s Center for the Annual out-reach to the community at large. On Friday, the Faith Ann Liuzzo School for the Arts performed for the hundreds of people gathered. On Saturday, September 26,hundreds again came out being greeted by warm and summer-like weather, enjoying the opportunity to shop at the Center from the nearly 26 Vendors which included St. Tikhon’s Bookstore. All of the food and baked goods were prepared by the faithful of St. Michael’s Parish, which prepared for this Mega event for the past 5 months. There was a record number of 112 theme baskets.
On the last Day of the Festival, Sunday, September 27th, we were again greeted by warm and sunny weather. In the morning, we had many visitors for the Divine Liturgy, and at St. Michael’s Center we had 180 classic cars registered. On Sunday afternoon, at 2:00 p.m. when His Eminence Archbishop MARK came for the start of the formal program and prayer nearly 1,400 people were present. Trophies were presented to the winners. We thank everyone who supported this out-reach to the community and to all who had supported this annual event.
