On March 9, 2013, Fr. Joseph Martin and the faithful of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral in Wilkes-Barre, PA welcomed clergy and parishioners from throughout the Wilkes-Barre Deanery to the Sunday of Orthodoxy Mission Service. The Very Reverend Steven Voytovich, Dean of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary gave a homily regarding the significance of the Sunday of Orthodoxy in the 21st Century. Fr. Nicholas Solak, Dean of Wilkes-Barre concluded Vespers by introducing new additions to the clergy of Wilkes-Barre and thanking the deanery for its' support. At the conclusion of Vespers, the faithful assembled in the Cathedral Parlors for a light meal and Orthodox Fellowship.
