Special Guests for 3rd Week • Edwardsville
On June 7, 2013, the faithful of St. John the Baptist welcomed His Grace, Bishop MARK, along with Fr. Benjamin Johnson and his family. This third week of special guests continues the process of filling the vacancy of Parish Priest. Fr. Benjamin served Vespers on Saturday, July 6, and Divine Liturgy on Sunday, July 7. Following Liturgy, the Parish and guests retired to Repella Hall for a light breakfast and question and answer period. The visit is part of the Diocesan effort to fill vacancies based on surveys and interviews, with the goal of placing the best candidate where he is needed.
