St. Tikhon’s Seminary professor Harry Boosalis and his son Michael will be traveling to Tanzania as part of a teaching mission, from 7/27/09-8/17/09, sponsored by the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC). The aim of the mission is to host seminars for church leaders and young adults throughout the Metropolis of Mwanza in Tanzania to teach basic catechism, evangelism, and encourage the faithful. The seminars are attended by catechists and other leaders from parishes throughout the metropolis who will bring what they learn back to their home communities. The Team will visit, witness to, and encourage other communities within the Metropolis.
